Inspired by the great singers (soneros) of classic salsa that flourised in Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and New York City, Venezuelan-born Ricardo Barboza performs beloved compositions by Óscar de Leon, Gilberto Santarosa, Jose Alberto el Canario, Los Blanco and Tito Nieves, as well as his own original dance-inducing tunes.
